Blue Neon

Blue Neon (2021) is the series in which the Vapensiero Alphabet first asserts itself as the structural logic of the work — not as inscription, but as composition.

Each piece is built around the tension between two systems: the painterly mass, dense and materially urgent, and the geometric sign, flat and precise. The neon colours — pink, yellow, orange — function not as decoration but as signal: the alphabet announces itself before the viewer has a means to read it.

The series introduces a logic that becomes more complex in later works: the transition from visible symbol to embedded language. In Blue Neon, the code is present and declared. What follows is its gradual submersion.
