366 Fujifilm intervened with acrylic and oil — 2,48 x 1,36m
Vapensiero 366 (V366) is an artistic device activated during leap years, in which an instant photograph is produced and pictorically intervened each day of the year
Each of the 366 works contains words or phrases encoded through the Vapensiero alphabet.
The project translates lived experience into a coded pictorical language, generating an archive where time, memory, and language intertwine.
Each work operates simultaneously as image, writing, and temporal record.
Although the interventions are produced chronologically, the installation does not follow a linear sequence, responding to the project´s central premise: time is linear, yet identity is not.
V366 is part of an ongoing body of work reactivated every leap year, forming a longitudinal investigation into identity through time.
The work is conceived as a capsule that brings together the 366 interventions, along with a digital system that enables the viewer to navigate the work.
